How does it feel for all of the Cat 1 golfers on here to know your playing better golf than Rory?
His head must be spinning just knowing he has the talent but just can't get it together. Then again, there are some other big names putting in some very big numbers

In fairness, although RM is not playing well at the moment, I would imagine most Cat1 golfers would be delighted with +6 on a course set up for a PGA Tour event.

I'd guess the Standard Scratch (I know it'll be a slope rated course) would be around 76-78!
At least, the greens are running at 13 in places.

Looks like he just made it in at +3. Got himself to +1 before bogeying 16 & 17 for a nervy finish
Makes the cut from a first round +6 , aye the wee lad has no interest in playing. Ground it out well in my opinion.

Only just mind. Could of easily had the weekend off. Again!
But he did, one bad round, one good round, all about getting there in the end. If the world no.1 is propping up the field, Rory can take heart from that too and kick on.

While the Memorial might well have a slope rating it will have no comparison to what it would be for the set up this week.
Would imagine most Cat 1's would be happy to break 90.
2 or 3 years age a golf magazine arranged three single figure golfers to play the US Open set up a couple of days before it started and only one broke a 100.

Gets me why everyone is on Rory's back the lads won 2 majors did this last year and then won a major! Rory doesn't need a b game he wouldn't the same player then, think I would take his 'meltdown' tbh haha!
