Recommendations for a beginner?

Hello,

My friend has recently decided to join me and get a membership at our local course. He is looking to buy a full set of clubs for between 150 and 200, was wondering if anyone could point him in the direction of a decent set. (his handicap will be around 30)

If there is a pro at the course ask him what you should get. They know all about equipment. Decent budget so he could get some nice gear.

He'd also be wise to get at least a couple of lessons off the pro too.

Be careful if you go down the e-bay route as a lot of fakes out there. Best try and get a second hand set off a pro, local range or a golf store
