Hi all i have a big problom. When i make a full swing with full power i cant lift my right foot after impact. Its uncomfortable for me to lift it but when i tried i miss hit or even hit the ball but it only goes at about half distance. When i hit the ball with out my foot lifting i get full distance and perfect aim even if i only swing at half power it goes were i want it to when i dont lift. My question is: is it nessercery to lift your foot after impact or is it down to comfort?? :D

I can't imagine a good swing and decent weight shift without it coming off the ground.......

It is reasonable to hit the ball long and straight and keeping your right foot down. Kenny Perry has his right foot flat on the ground after the ball has gone.
However my concern is by doing so, you may be putting more strain on your back.
If you continue to do so, after a few years, you may end up with a bad back.
Do you have any back problems at the moment?
