Really hope Singh does not win this.

I'm rooting for Adam Scott. Great performance to put himself in contention 3 weeks after his meltdown at The Open.

Forgive me for being stupid, but I have never even given this much thought as I imagined it must be illegal. Seems even more riduculous that it is allowed, after seeing Rory been penalised on the 3rd!

Hit a 3 wood off the tee and it got stuck in the branch of a dead tree. I know the rule that trees (unless staked) are an integral part of the course, but it just seemed so unlucky to be penalised a shot. Fair play to him mind, just got on with it and hit par. I'd have probably bemoaned my bad luck and lost the plot!

COME ON GMAC!!!

Be interesting to see what happens if there's no more play tonight. Would imagine players wouldn't be too keen on playing a large part of their third round and their final round on sunday

firstly it is not illegal to get your caddy to help you line up so cant see what the fuss is all about,is it not the same as the caddy helping line a putt on the greens, secondly V.J has been a model pro for years and conducts himself on and off the course in a gentlemanly manner UNLIKE some of the younger players on the tour.

Agreed, Vijay is a model pro and is at is very well though of by other pros. Also his fitness routine is awesome and I just hope I'm still that strong and flexible at his age, as commented on by Butch Harmon

Who said it was illegal?????:mmm:

It's a royal pain in the jinker and I cannot for the life of me see why anyone should need someone to do it.

As I said, keep it on the split hoops tour please where it is prevalent at epidemic proportions.

+1

He still has to hit the ball, and thats the bit that matters.

Never been a fan of Singhs since all his shennanigans in his younger years. I must have as
long a memory as Doon fae Troon. Cmon Rory or Adam.

And he probably practices more than any other pro, as the great David Feherty once said,
"Vijay Singh has probably hit more balls than Elton John's chin". Classic, that always makes me giggle.

Slime.

P.S. I REALLY hope he doesn't win.
