I would say that most golf clubs would support a PGA qualified pro as it's part of the 'backbone' of golf to go thru the PGA. Whether what they teach you is any good or not is up to the person taking the lesson (but what would they know?)
If you are having a lesson it depends what the lesson is, what you want to achieve, and (to a degree) what your swing is like. Most lessons work WITH the player rather than changing their entire swing.... but then you end up with your own personal swing that looks like a box of frogs![]()
Cant agree with this, as I previously stated Ive had lessons with a former tour player who is now none PGA,are you going to tell me an assistant pro PGA qualified who gives lessons knows better than my guy? Utter rubbish...
