I hope Paul Lawrie finds the traffic ok.

He found out that he had in fact made the cut as he was sat at home 180 miles away.No doubt scrambling back to see if his hotel room is still spare!!

If there looks like a play off on Sunday, here is a wee tip that worked out very well for us on the last Open at Muirfield.

Let the last pairing go through and then grab the back seats on the stand behind the 16th green.
You can see all the shots except 17th green and 18th hole.
A pair of binoculars are probably handy as well

Or do what me and the Brother did in 2002, when the crowd started going back to the few holes and there was a cue to get up the stairs of the grandstand at the 18th green just go up the stairs of the exit.
