Why is there a D in fridge but not in refrigerator?

Do twins ever realise that one of them was unplanned?

Why is the letter W called double U and not double V?

How did the inventor of the first clock know what time to set it to?

Why is the Milka cow lilac?

Having listened to hundreds/thousands of military briefings over the years, which ALWAYS finish with ‘Any Questions?’ I’ve never had the ba##s to ask

‘Why is Orange Jam called Marmalade?’

Two young boys from the Archerfield estate between Gullane and North Berwick played a couple of exhibition golf matches as reigning Open Champion and American Open champion.
Can you name them?

''jam is made using the pulp and juices of a fruit, whereas marmalade is made from citrus fruit and uses the juice and peel or rind – giving it the delicious chunky bits in it that make marmalade so tasty!''

With the massive reduction of air travel, reduced traffic on the roads. and less manufacturing going on.
Anyone worked out how long will it take to repair the Ozone layer :p

Not sure, I think the council are doing the potholes first.

With virtually no cars on the road now would be the time to rebuild the local roads not just fill in the potholes.

Did anybody ever work out how many holes it takes to fill the Albert Hall?
