My club has moved to have rakes left out of bunkers now.
What do your clubs do, and what do you think is best?
Do you have rake stands so they are elevated and therefore don't stop ball from going in the bunkers?
On Saturday I was out of position and decided my best bet was to run the ball into the greenside bunker. Unfortunately the rake had been left just in front of the bunker and my ball stopped a couple of inches short of the bunker on a nasty downslope, with very little room to stop the ball on the other side.
If the rake was left in the bunker the ball may have hit the rake, but stopped in the middle of the bunker.
Interested on other folks thoughts on the subject?
