I'm off to Portugal on Thursday, playing QDL North, South & Laranjal. Has anyone been here? Got any tips/info to share??

yes, factor spf 30, ice beer and water on the buggy, take your glove off between shots or have 1 tanned and 1 white hand!

Many moons ago. The cracking par 3 over a lagoon I think is still there. If your tee shot falls just short and is in the shallows and you decide to go paddling - watch out for the sea snakes

laranjal - for some reason their leccy trollies all pull to the right - just get a buggy!

I've played QdL north and south many times. Last time cost me 190 euros plus 35 euros for the buggy, but was worth every cent. I rate them as two of the best in the Algarve, alongside Penina, San Lorenzo and Vilamoura Old. My tip is to take at least one extra club longer than you think when approaching the greens. All my playing partners came up short too. Never played Laranjal.
