I recently bought a Scotty Cameron Newport 2.6. I like the putter but the grip is too skinny for me. I have big hands and the putter just feels wrong in them. I've looked at Scotty 'Baby T, Midsize grips but they cost a small fortune. I was wondering if anyone could offer some advice regarding a good 'bigger' grip. A red or black one would be ideal but that's just being picky.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Cheers

Michael

Funny you should bring this up about Scotty putter grips.

I don't like the grip on mine for a different reason. I think It's too firm.

I'm looking at a Golf Pride alternative on Gamola. Failing that I may opt for an Iomic grip if I can find one I like.

I agree about them being too firm. I used to have a Iomic grip on my Seemore FGP which I like the feel of but I'm after something a little bigger this time. I've just spoken to a bloke from Gamola who said the Iomic is designed for the Japanese market so the grips run smaller than average.

The problem is there is so much choice and I'm too indecisive.

I was going to buy the Scotty Midsize 'Baby T' but £40 is a rip off in my eyes. Does anyone know who makes the 'Baby T'. You can probably buy the same grip for a fraction of the price minus the Scotty logo.

Unfortunatley ANYTHING with Scotty Cameron on tends to have an inflated price.

You could try these:

I'm looking at these as replacements for mine:

Cheers for all your help. I've plumped for a Golf Pride Tour Classic in red. Managed to get one for £5.95 from The Golf Shop Online with free P&P. Cheapest i could find and the grip looks nice too.

Cheers.
