Any thoughts anyone pls ?

Recently changed my irons from Zing2's , which I have had for over 12yrs, and now got Titleist AP2's.
The Zings were 3' upright (white lie ) and the AP's are 2' , which was reccomended when I demo'd them. ProjectX 5.5 shafts.

My natural shot is a drw, with my bad shots a push or an over-draw left, but with these AP's , I seem to be consistently hitting straight right of target.

Only played 3/4 rounds so far, and I love the clubs, so perhaps just getting used to them, or could the 1' lie difference be a factor ?

Or.....should I get my @ss to for a lesson to sort it out ?

I've got this problem as well - not all the time - but often enough.
I cured it by working out that my shoulders were open at address - pointing straight right! So I just tweak my shoulders a touch left and hey presto everything is in line and the shot goes where I want it to.

Just got to remember to do it :D :D

Wouldn't do no harm to slap some tape on the bottom and see where your scuff mark is. You may have changed anythin from posture to swing plane that may cause you to push. Will certainly give you an idea

If the scuff mark isn't center (and I guess it would be nearer the toe) the you might need them knoking up another notch. But obv see a pro before hand.

Mine are going grand matey, it could be something in your swing isnt quite the usual for you or the pings could have been slightly offset. Get a lesson, otherwise you will get frustrated with your new irons. Ive got DG s300's in mine which probably arnt much different to yours, I have pushed a few inmy time with them but having seen them also hit a stonking draw and stop dead, its not the clubs.

If it's a definite push (not slice/fade) I would suggest checking your alignment first if thats ok you're probasbly not getting your hands and hips through, you may well have adapted to your old clubs and you have to go through it again with the new ones.
Just my thoughts but see a pro is probably best advice.

I video myself with my mobile phone sometimes and you can usually see whats happening that way(after you stop cringing that is)
