Nah, it's rotated to course in the south, 3hr round trip each day
I'll go down once or twice to spectate since I get tickets but can't do that kind of commute for 6 days
So I'll just be a regular punter next week in afraid

Sitting at club having a drink or three, watching Eddie Pepperell practicing his putting. Reminds you what they do for practice / prep before a round is another level to club golfers
His tournament this week isn't even at this course but he's knocking dozens of 6-8 footers to same hole before going out

No he came out a few days early for the DPWT event next week for Mauritius open since it's last event of the year
More than a few a them do it to make a pre Xmas holiday out of the long trip i guess, also bring partners to caddy and fit in some practice etc

Looking windy and very testing conditions in Mauritius today. Course looks quirky but fun as well.

Most of the course is set up into the hillside, hence the wind you’re seeing. Also means stunning views
Those fun/quirks for Pros means it’s a very challenging layout for club players. Playing from the correct set of tees is key to not getting beat up

It's good to see them having to navigate their way round and play the elements instead of overpowering the course. Think it's somewhere I'd quite enjoy having a crack out I like a plot and and play kind of course.
Mrs m has mentioned potentially venturing out there next year as she gets braver with flight lengths and personal circumstance depending next year, may have a little look into it in the new year.
