Get some under armour cold gear trousers, excellent on cold and windy days and are shower proof too

Agreed, I have a pair of these (bought luckily for £16 at TK Maxx) and they are great golfing trousers for inclement weather.

I also wash and re-proof my waterproofs with Nikwax Tech-Wash and TX Direct wash-in. Works a treat on my ProQuip suit.

Spraying the shoes with their waterproof spray is also a good option.

I love my DryJoy Tours... never let me down in the wet. Suitability will depend on the "last" ....if the DryJoys use the same "last" as the Greenjoys then your feet will just love them.

MacWet gloves also highly recommended.

Ive also got a GG softshell windstopper which is excellent... often get away in winter with just this and a polo shirt underneath...a third layer just becomes unbearably hot.

For those extra cold days look no further than a hideously unsexy set of loose fitting thermals-long johns and shirt... cheap as chips from M&S (or similar, other department stores are available), I often wear them under a shower proof pair of trousers and a polo shirt and shower proof top and I'm as warm as toast. I've got a decent set of waterproof but generally try to wear as little as I can get away with on the course... they only get worn on the wettest of days.

I have a Slazenger hydroguard jacket & mountain warehouse roll neck baselayer.

Got a cheap 2nd hand stand bag over the weekend so if it gets muddy etc I will still have my nice one for the better weather.

Trying to find some decent trousers at the moment but can't find any in my (larger) size.

Another who wears them in the winter. I find them and a pair of golf trousers and my legs are snug enough. Add in a pair of sealskinz socks and the feet are dry and warm (I wear a thin pair of socks underneath). On the top I prefer to layer with base layer, polo, cotton golf short and woollen jumper on those really cold days

winter golf whats that? all the courses here close from the end of October and a lot are used for cross country skiing - I may have a trip to the indoor range but generally I just retire to the pub to watch the football from Nov-March

Still never managed to find a product to keep the hands warm.
Was ok when I carried and could stuff my hands in my pockets, but since I need to use a trolley I tend not to bother.
Someone needs to invent a trolley with heated handles 😉
