The axle of my motocaddy S3 pro trolley broke again and may not be able to be repaired this time.

Been looking at a PC as there appears to be more support for a tour bag from what i can see.

Anyone have the new FW3 or 7 and what are your opinions

I have the FW3. It's my first leccy trolley, so I can only compare it to my wife's, which is an ancient PC. It's heavier than her older trolley, even though there is a lot more plastic in it's makeup.
I like the battery connection and where it sits. My biggest moan, would be the controls. I just think they could be so much better. The main circular button, you push down to turn on and rotate for speed (it's not clear which way you go for faster or slower until you get used to it) It is so easy to inadvertently catch the button while walking away from the trolley which sets it of.
The Wife's older trolley has a rocker switch for on/off and a radio style knob for speed, (it's much easier to adjust the speed while walking with the older trolley, it's also more logical, wind it forwards for faster and back for slower), to me it's a much better arrangement than the new trolley.

Apart from that, it carries your clubs fine, and I like the battery charge display, that is very useful. 6/10 if I was scoring, nice but could be so much better.

I have always had Motocaddy and I thought I always would,an opportunity came to purchase a FW7 and I’m glad I changed.
I had an S1 lithium.
The PK just seems so much sturdier.
Yes the buttons are a pain but you get used to them as with most trolleys.

The folding is,or was for me easier on the MC.
The really good thing for me is the wheels,on the MC I found the white bits go off colour really quick but on the PK they seem a different material and are staying white so far.

The FW7 just seems over complicated to me , electronics do go wrong and do you really need all the bells and whistles.
The FW3 is more basic but does the job the same.
I got a FW5 mainly for the distance control feature to send it to the next tee 15/30/45yds.
It’s a personal thing but at the end of the day you just want it to carry your clubs from tee to green!
