Anyone who has played with me before knows I'm forever tinkering with my putter, even though I'm pretty happy with my current one.
Have my eye on a Never Compromise Sub 30 Type 50 centre-shaft on Ebay, as I quite fancy giving a centre-shafted putter another try after some success with my old Benross CS; I only gave that up as I lost the feel for it after messing around with oversized grips and could never recapture the old feeling even when going back to a midsize.
I had tried the Cleveland Smart Square, but to me the insert felt like hitting off a sponge and I struggled with it; and with NC being a Cleveland brand, i'm a bit concerned it would be more of the same.
I know it's not the club, but the idiot that holds it; but was wondering if anyone had used this model of putter before and could give some feedback?
