Poor in the bunker

Played yesterday and although i usually get out the bunker anytime i am in one (rare) i was in a bunker twice and each time i took 3 shots to get out the sand was very fluffy and i found it difficult to get out any hints on playing from fluffy sand ?

Flatter swing, like a lob shot. Cut across the ball a bit and get PLENTY of sand with a harder swing. Takes some practice to get the trust but worth the effort. If your practice bunker does not have fluffy sand then kick around till you make some! (best bunker practice tip I ever got off a pro )

you need to commit to the shot this is one of my common problems quitting on it by declerating.

Everybody I have ever seen that struggles in bunkers more often than not just do not commit to the shot and hit it. They take a a nice length of back swing then bottle it and do not hit through the ball. I am not bad out of bunkers (if I do say so myself). But I always try and get close to the flag, I do not just play to get it out.
