In a roll up 45 points shooting 9 under when off 20 h/c with a birdie on the SI 1 which is a very long par 4 on which I had 2 shots hence a neat 5 points and some blushes on my behalf! Some very lucky holes as well as afew ones I played about as good as I thought possible at the time.

In an official comp 43 points last year on my birthday in a club midweek stableford comp when off 18 resulting in a nice cut. Somebody in the last group of the day (and handing their cards in about 8.30 pm) pipped me by one ! This round was fairly special as I felt in control of every shot and went through the whole round without any drama's

played in golf trip in may and scored 42 points on my own which was part of a 3 man teams total (best 2 scores on each hole). Even with my lucky score we still did not win but was more than happy :)

Both my highest stableford scores have come this summer. 46 points round Sandfordsprings and 45 points round Hanbury Manor. Both of my full club handicap at the time and both in corporate golf days.

45 points when playing off 20 earlier this year. I'd had a few lessons in the winter and then suddenly everything clicked on this particular day and fortunately for me it was in a board competition too!

Funny thing is though, I blobbed two of the easier holes! Good job I did because 49 - 51 points might have been a bit embarrassing.....

I haven't managed to recreate this form subsequently, but I know I've got it in me.

Managed 44pts off 12 in a midweek s/f a couple of weeks back.

Strangely didn't feel like I was playing that nicely, but just kept finding myself walking off with pars, and picked up the odd birdie on stroke holes. Don't normally add up as I go around, but a FC mentioned I had 38 pts after 16 holes, and commented that a couple more points should be enough.

Luckily I kept my head, and parred the last two holes, both of which I received shots on (and are genuinely two of the hardest on the course). Found out the next day that there was a 43pts in, so I nipped it by one!

Got a two shot cut, down to 10.4, but promptly went up to 11 the next time I went out. Satisfying to know that there is a score like that in me - it was a gross 74, which was also my best ever round :)

I have had 2 rounds over 43 points. The first was in the qualifying round for the Golf Monthly Centenary event at Breadsal Priory. I was in the last group out, was very steady to begin with then started picking up 3 pointers. If I remember I scored a 4 pointer on the 18th to move to 44 points. The fellow forumers who were on that day were great but I have to admit to getting some funny looks and backhanded comments from some of the other people there. Fact is that I then asked GM for the card back, handed in to my club and was cut pretty dramatically going in to the final.

The other was just a normal stableford comp at my home club, everything clicked and I came away with 45 points.

back to back 42s in 2010. RU on both - lost on countback on one of them where i was defending champ from 2009 when i scored 41. won the same comp again last year with 41 again. not as good a showing as defending champ this time around...

Highest stableford score was 47 points about 3 years ago. Sunday morning roll-up with the "lads". IIRC there were 3 birdies & 3 bogies the rest were all par. So a level par 71 when off a handicap of 11.

I have since bettered the round with a gross 69 when playing off 7, although it was for less points. This was a far more satisfying round as it was 16 pars & 2 birdies :)

When i started playing society golf many many moons ago , at the first outing i explained id played P&P & par 3 a good bit ,

They gave me 24 h'cap, i shot 48 pts & won,

next outing the cut me to 18 h'cap , i shot 49 pts & won

Next outing i got 12 handicap & yes u guessed it ..... i didnt win ha ha ..

Best society score (golf wise) was 35 pts off scratch

The one that counts tho was Best off my official handicap of 8 at the time, i shot my one and only level par round , 44pts

7 pars ,1 birdie , 1 eagle saw me turn -3 ,

Had a birdie putt with a massive break on it on 10 , no idea of the line so just hit it . straight in the hole -4 thru 10 (nosebleed time) bogey on 11 was a reality check but steady pars followed & I was still -3 on 16th tee..

Double bogey , par, stupid bogey , took the gloss off a great round & delayed one aim of mine to break par in an official comp , gutted

46 points playing in a restricted club competition with 4 clubs and a putter, a few years ago now playing off 12.
Took 3 wood, 5 iron, 8 iron and a wedge. This was on a Saturday, went out on the Sunday, same course, identical conditions with the full set and shot 32!!!

45 Points when off 15, just playing a casual game with a mate, had no idea how well I was doing until he told me at the end. Gross 75 +6 Still my best ever round.

Didn't play stableford over 18 holes until quite late on so, with a stabilised handicap, low 40's several times is the most I can admit.

My best is 46 points in a midweek Stableford at Batchworth Park GC. Handicap was 17 at the time, but was reduced to 14 as a result. Gross score was 79, which was one of the few occasions when I have broken 80 on a decent length course. Just one of those rare days when nearly everything went right :)
