I've bought almost everything brand new except my timbers but with them included then it'd be around £1800 I reckon.

Bag £200
Driver £250
3&5wood £300
Hybrid £100
Irons £600
Wedges £160
Putter £100
Brolly £40
Balls,tees,markers etc £40t

I didn't think I'd spent that much on golf gear until I've written it down!

I am an Ostrich! I don't want to even think about how much!

:mmm:

Whatever it is, it's probably "too much" according to everyone else indoors!

I paid around £1200 for mine, to replace like for like brand new it would be around £1900 roughly

That excludes clubs not in the bag, the bag itself and spare carry bag, gps, laser, trolley, balls

Lots of pounds

Titleist AP1 712's £300 ex demo used once
Titleist 913 driver £130, (£85 head (new), £45 Fujikura Motore F1 custom shaft, (new).
Titleist 913 Fd 3 wood £90
Cleveland Classic XL 5 wood £59
Cleveland Classic XL 7 wood £59
Cleveland RTX CB wedge set, 50, 54, 58 £150 total new
Oddysey No 7 putter £59.99 new

Total £857 with everything new except the Titleist 3 wood and Irons with a total saving of over £1200 on RRP

If you add my bag, GPS, range finder, waterproofs, clothing, trolley and accessories you could add an additional £1000 + minimum at RRP however in reality they probably cost close to £800 with my Nikon Coolshot being the most expensive item at £159 and the best bargain my Go-Kart at £125

There are some bargains to be had if you look about and you don't have to pay the earth for premium equipment

New value or current?

Like dave I tend to be patient and shop when the time is right.

bag/clubs/trolley/Brolly/laser

New value - £2765
Paid value - £1150
( either by ebay bargains or purchasing nearly new low use )

What I paid around £1700. Few bargains and a silly putter add to this amount. Crazy really. Dread to think what I actually spend on golf if I was to include shoes full galvin green layer system and prov1x!!!

I wonder how many people after looking into this and adding it up and then taking their bag and other stuff into consideration are looking up their insurance cover?

If you don't use a separate golf insurance and rely totally on your home contents insurance which can cover items at home and in transit in some instances, it may be prudent to check the small print as some insurance companies require you to declare any single high value item/s, and our golf bags with everything in them, including expensive waterproofs etc, could take you well over their policy limit?

Just saying :smirk:

Even with a brand new Titleist 910 D3 driver in the bag the whole lot cost me £305!
Went out and tried the new Srixon *45 irons, which are superb, but there was little yardage or accuracy gains and my clubs just need a lie adjustment. If it ain't broke!

About £1300 when I bought my clubs.
Irons, wedges and 4 wood were new, driver, hybrid and putter had previous owners.

Reckon if I needed to replace everything in the bag would be £750 for similar condition used or £1700 if all new

Probably about £500 give or take.
Only really paid full wack for my putter & that's been in my bag about 4yrs.

About 600 on irons, 200 driver, 100 3w, 2 2nd hand hybrids 100 total, 65 putter.
so ticked over 1k.
Start adding decent balls, gloves, waterproofs, bag itself (carry and trolley) and trolley!, soon get north of 1500 I reckon.
Gps watch on my wrist 200 also.

Hmmm interesting. Been a while since I did that (probably from fear)

Started playing 5 years ago. The 14 clubs currently in my bag then it's about £705 all bought new expect the putter which was a trade in.

Irons: Wilson ci11 £230. (2014) This is my 3rd set since starting.
Driver: Cobra Amp Cell £200 (2013) 4th since starting.
Hybrids: MD STR10 21* & 24* £90 for both. (2014) 2nd since starting.
Putter: Mizuno MP T102 £65 (2014) 5th since starting.
Wedges: MD Seve 48* 52* and 56* £90 for the 3 of them. (2014) 3rd wedge set in this loft range since starting.
Norman Drew 60*, 1st since starting which cost about £30 (2013).

Plan to change the 60* this year to another MD so that'll have no real impact on total bag value. No other changes planned.

Add in the Bag, Trolley and other bits and pieces this jumps up to around £1200 or so.

About £1200.

Tend to stick with something I like.

Irons brought 2013
wedges 2013
Woods 2013
Putter start 2014

Hybrid was a gap fIller Christmas present this year.

New irons cost me just over £600 recently, but everything else club-wise in the bag is second hand (mint though....I'm fussy).
I guess it would add up to about £1,000.00.
