Only a 3 for me.

Below expectations at the beginning of the season after a promising winter but at least I am .3 lower than I was at the start.

4 for me I'd say, I'm improving a lot and putting has got a lot better recently. I also had a lesson with Gary Smith last Tuesday who helped me with my swing. So all I need to do now is get my handicap down in the club comps and I shall be happier! Also managed to get my second hole in one on Thursday up at Wentworth.
So I'd say it was a good year.

I saw your twitter! Well done dude, i hope that set you back a fair bit having some saffer cricketers with you i expect the bar bill was hefty!

BTW, two is plain greedy. Still not had 1! in all honesty, don't think i have really come close either!! (that's my reverse psychology to the golfing gods.)

5 for me.

Handicap has gone up a full shot since this time last year but I know that's going to take care of itself at some stage. Eh birchy :D
started the season in march with some of the worst golf I have ever played (silloth and southerness weeekend)but worked hard at getting it back and now it's going ok.

Best things been selected for a free set of mizuno irons courtesy of GM and Mizuno . The irons are really working well at the minute.

Also highlights so far have been the organised scottish trip playing some fantastic courses and the company wasn't bad either, met lots of forumites playing the King of kings and played some lovely courses along the route. Spent a fortune in the process this year but it's been worth it.
Defo a 5 now,

Shot 40 points at the weekend and was 3rd in captains day, a nice little 1.2 cut followed and now 9.0 :D

Thanks mate, I couldn't see the first one as it was uphill so it was only when we couldn't see it around the green then we knew it must be in.
but this one it was a beat the pro contest and it looked in all the way so was just amazing to see it. Plus it was nice to get a free electric trolley for it too!

Started off well and then got better winning 2 board comps got to 1/4 final in club pairs, due to play in final of mixed greensomes this Saturday only down side I am playing against my daughter, all in all a good season.

About a 3 still scoring high and not managed a cut in my handicap but seen a lot of improvement in my game. Unfortunately my season has bee cut short due to injury but look forward to getting back either just after christmas or in the new seson.

Lowly 2 for me. On the face of it a 3 shot drop, a medal win, a few other wins, coupled with playing some fantastic courses, meeting some cracking people off here should really be a 4. Not playing well lately though, still haven't cured the slice and don't see myself any better at the long game than when I started playing last August.
would love another 3 shots next year, definitely a higher mark would then be achieved.

4 for me, started badly but settled in to drop from 11 something to 8.8 although a couple of 0.1's back recently.

Won the club spring meeting board comp and handicap league of club champs so two board comp wins under my belt.

The biter sweet was melting in the semi finals of the club match play ko's sweet for getting there but no game that day. Still got the scratch knock out to go which I've just won my first match against a 6 capper so onwards and upwards. It's the first year I've qualified so there's still hope.
