Playing partner / groups in Teeside / Durham area

Hi All,

I've recently moved to the area and I'm looking to find playing partners / groups or a society to get out a play a few more rounds.

I'm 30 and play to a 25 hcp. I'm flexible when I can play as I'm currently between work contracts so can do midweek (evening and daytime) and at weekends.

Also, if anyone has any recommendations for a golf pro in the area, that would also be appreciated!

Would be great to hear from anyone else who is in a similar situation?

Hello Mate, Were are you at, there are guys from Seaham/Chester-Le-Street/South Shields and loads from Newcastle area. hopefully going to have a NE meet soon.

I'm in the Billingham area so have just played a few rounds at Knotty Hill so far. Planning on getting around a fair few other courses in the area over the next few months. Would definitely be up for a NE meet so will keep an eye out.

Ross Jackson based at Ingleby Barwick is young and very driven. He embraces technology so you'll get plenty of stats and feedback on your swing. The course there is only nine holes but good value membership with friendly members and although it's a short course it's tight and you'll learn to be straight off the tee.
