"Earliest rising knob of the day"

You old people get very grumpy sometimes.

And seem to rely on the same answer for everything! I know what Dr Freud would interpret from your stock answer.

When you reach Smiffy's age, NOTHING rises, be it early or late! ;)

Another vote for the excellence of Pings, I'm 32 and was custom fit at Gainsborough, if only I had more time to play with them...

Still, every time I hit a bad shot I know its me, used to play with awful rubbish bats, cant look back now.

If you hit the G10s well, get them.

Cheers folks, Will give them a few more tries at the range before I commit, perhaps try a longer iron instead of a 7 as that's where I think I'l notice the most difference.

Atleast if I buy them now at the age of 30 they will last me long enough for me to get my oap badge!

I started off with Taylormade/Mizuno/Nike woods and Cobra Irons. I completley dismissed Ping at the start. However after hitting the g15 woods I had to buy them and its the same with the G15 irons as well. They may be ugly as sin but my god they are so forgiving and easy to hit. Buying mine in September when the prices of G15 irons are expected to drop.

All Pings for me too...
I10 irons 4-SW
And i15 driver 3 wood and 21 deg hybrid...
All im short now is the Putter :o

Oh and im only 36 years young :D :D :D

I was blown away by thr I15's last year and nearly made the switch. Forget the banter on here about old mans club and go and hit them Even the K15 driver is stupidly easy to hit and hit well (even I can use it) and so they are definitely playable for all abilities. The G15 is a good middle of the orad club (ball flight a bit high for me) and to be honest there isn't a world of difference between the G10 and 15

As from tomorrow I will have 14 pings in my bag:
Driver & 3 wood
Hybrid
3 - pw
2 tour wedges
Anser 2 Scottsdale

I hope thats 14 anyway! My minds going I am so old!
