Ping I25's

Both good looking clubs,if you hit them well does it really matter what numbers you get.
Just do it Homer, you know it's only a matter of time .

If you want them, get them. This numbers stuff is all just guff. You got the best numbers with the g25s, but you don't want them. So rationalising it with numbers is just pointless. Buy the clubs you want.
They are all good clubs, they will all work.

If you change make sure that you see every club your buying, as your fitter clearly hoodwinked you into buying the g25's without knowing what they looked like.

Numbers wise, everything else being equal, the G25's should be longer as they have stronger lofts than the I20/25's.

You do realise most of your posts about this are trying to convince yourself what is the right thing to do, to justify previous decisions you have made to yourself and not anything else? At the end of the day its your decision and you have to do whats best for you but try taking a step back and evaluate what it is you actually want to achieve from a set of irons (whats important - looks, forgiveness, feel, brand image, how the forum will perceive the purchase, what your pro thinks etc etc), go and get them and then stick with them because you have made the right decision based upon your criteria.

But everything else isn't equal. G25 and other GI clubs often have slightly stronger lofts as their low CG is designed to help you get the ball in the air. The stronger loft is to stop the ball ballooning on you.

Homer my old mate, what you need to do is go and buy the clubs you like the look of. Despite your sometimes fragile confidence, you hit the ball well enough to play with just about anything and you don't need the forgiveness the ugly clubs supposedly offer.

Go and buy the sexy new shinies, get yourself out on the golf course, stop thinking too much and get that handicap down to single figures where we both know that it should be

Yet again ........

Bloody hell how often do have a lesson? You must spend a fortune

Nope. Got a deal on series of lessons between now and March. Just tidying up all aspects of the game ready for the season rather than a major tweak, includes a 9 hole playing lesson and some work on mental side (ignoring 000's of swing thoughts, negativity, pre-shot). Worked out less than £20 per lesson compared to £27.50 for a standard 45 minutes. Just getting ready to hit the ground running come the start of the season and beats trying to play on saturated courses

As I've reiterated SO many times the issue with the G25 isn't one of not being able to hit them but one of aesthetics especially on the mid and short irons.

Has it ever occurred to you what the clubs might think if they could look up and see the state of the person holding them?

Just do it, I hit my RBZ driver better than most clubs in my bag if not the best... I wanted a new toy and loved the look and feel of the G25 driver so I went and bloody bought it!!!

Homer stop trying to justify yourself here. You'll never win. Just get out there play golf and if you want new clubs buy the ones you feel best with. We can happily wait until your signature changes to find out which ones you choose.

Like that's going to happen, the whole world will be made aware when the big switch happens.
