Liking the look of the irons and tempted to give Silvermere a call and see if they have any testing slots free at the weekend and the irons in stock
Did you go and hit it? I had a lock in the store yesterday and the wall is still full of G400 in all variations, didn’t see a 410 at all.

Silvermere won't have any irons on the shelf in the shop till release in March.

They may have some for their booking fittings, to try and take pre orders on

Called them on Wednesday and they don't have any to test until early tomorrow (and they are booked up) and won't be any to buy until 7th February which is the UK release date

You must have spoke to a different person Hommie.
When I called, they had none. Possibly getting some for custom fit sessions in a few weeks but none in the shop ( to demo on the range till March)

Interesting review. Not changed my initial opinions on them and need to hit them for myself. I could probably do with the extra distance so a cranked loft and higher flight may help. Gapping could be an issue, especially between PW and my specialist 52 and 58 degree wedges so something to bear in mind

Just spoke to my son at Clubhouse Golf. They're definitely available to demo and for fitting sessions. Delivery to the customer is expected to be mid Feb.

Would make sense and a little out of character for Silvermere not to be ready for demo's for a new release. I've been bombarded with AG emails offering testing in their stores so thought they must be available to hit. Might wander to AG at Camberley for just a hit and then book into Silvermere (better shaft options) for a fitting if I like them enough

Irons available now to demo, we have all 7 irons in and quite a few shafts.

The 410 woods are not out till March I think.

The whole G410 range including driver, woods etc. goes on sale in the UK on 7th Feb.

Think Glyn may be right, irons Feb, woods March.
Hence the guy at Silvermere getting confused when I called.

Seen the irons now available to order on a few online places for Feb delivery, not seen a pre order for driver, fairways or hybrid yet.

Watched a few reviews on the irons last night. They do look very nice.

Just not sure where it ends with the lofts. I note a lot of the Ping sets will start at 6 iron. This is because the lofts are so strong that for a higher handicapper, a 5 iron will be like trying to hit a 4 iron. They are also trying to build in as much ‘launch’ as possible, so I guess a 7 iron might go closer to the distance of a conventional 6 iron but could stop a bit quicker if it has enough height.

I guess when you start using them, you will get used to the distances.

Just checked with Dan in our shop. For Woods 6th Feb for fittings and the 8th March is the official release date.

The cranked lofts are a potential issue for me and so I need to see how my current clubs stack up, what options I can get at the top end of the bag and whether I can hit them sufficiently well to justify the outlay

Don't know about G410 but those Ping Blueprints are sure one nice looking bladed iron.

I reckon you need to be tour level to hit the 2 iron

Just seen on Facebook that Silvermere now has the irons in. Going to the range anyway and will have a cheeky look.
Still not in the market though.

I have ordered the irons.

Should get them next week.

Had a go with the G410 driver and 3 wood tonight, I prefer the Callaway epic flash to the driver, I did like the 3 wood tho.
