afternoon all, thinking of changing irons to either Ping G25 or G20,both same price. Can anyone give me advice on which way to go please.I am a high handicapper. No official handicap yet.All replies appreciated

Both same price, Seems strange? G25 is newer model so may be better? I would try a good selection before you buy anything and see which you like best.

I can't comment on the G25's as I haven't hit them, but I carry the G20s and they're a treat. Easy to get in the air and forgiving on off centre hits. Of course they don't correct a slice or anything dramatic but they do offer help for the higher handicapper. The G25s have a progressive sole width, so chunky on the long irons and thinner working down to the wedge. If you don't know which to go for I'd recommend you go for a fitting and get them spec'd out to you. A lot of places do Ping fittings these days. Good luck!

Personally I prefer the looks of the g25 and have put them on my wish list. I've hit both sets and couldn't really see any difference in performance.

Hi Birchy, yes went to clarkes golf store in rainford ,selling both at £499.00 .Thanks tsped83 will go and get fitting and decide which ones.Yes eavesdad I agree the G25 do look better.

Strange that someone is selling them both at the same price. G25s will have more trade in value when you come to buy a new set. And if you do find out the G20s are better for you then do some haggling, pointing out they are not the latest model.

I was there today. Hooking the pants out of it on the range. I would go with the G25, they look so much better....
