Going to a local club tomorrow for a fitting for the G25 irons.
Just wondering what happens? The pro said it includes a free lesson.

He said he will take my old irons ( callaway big Bertha 2008 ) as a trade in. Is it worth doing that or selling them via the bay or paper better?

I'm very inconsistent hitting irons at the moment as have hardly played for years but back into it now. But alot of my iron shots fade or slice.

I have just got G25 irons

I tried several irons and chose the G25 based on consistency and distance

We then checked the lies and i was too close to black dot ( standard ) to worry about changing

Standard grips and reg steel shafts for me, also got them for less than £500 ! 5 to SW

I looked at 5-pw as I don't use the 4i as use my hybrid and I already have 52,56 & 60 wedges. Plus it saved a few quid! My pro has them in for £469.

The 4 iron is an easy to hit iron, very straight

Surprisingly the SW is also a decent wedge and i use it alot for chipping and shorter approach pitches

These days vary. Some have slots where you can book time for a full fitting usually on a monitor. Others are just a case of getting a few irons and hitting balls on your own. If you are getting a lesson chucked in then sounds like a good day
