Pal just played Augusta

Family friends of the former secretary of the Masters, Divot.

And, yes, I do believe they take 2 for 1 tickets....but at summer rates :D :D :D

:D :D :D

When you told us this bloke played Augusta a matter of days before the Masters, I was thinking 'bar steward'.

Now you've told me he shot 81 (which some pros won't manage at the Masters), I now think I'd quite like to hurt him physically just to make me feel better!

Having played relatively few courses in my life, the idea of playing somewhere like Augusta just blows my mind. The article in GM about the new captain at St Andrews having the 1st tee cannon ritual gave me goose bumps just imagining what that must be like.

Which idiot was asking us to give pros, who play these all the time and for free, respect again? :D

Just speaking from personal experience, chaps. They're certainly by far the fastest greens I've ever played on when they're in tournament mode, and I've now played 98 courses, including many Open venues.

Just an opinion.

The point I was trying to make was that my friend plays on very fast greens as a matter of course, which is gonna help at Augusta.
