I feel as if lately the more i play the worse i do, mainly because of the mental side of things, like concentrating on every shot when your playing everyday, especially when you are STILL hitting a slice ( getting it sorted hopefully in a lesson on saturday). And i have been playing everyday this week, the slice im producing is really getting in the way and ruining my golf. Should i not play till the lesson? is there such thing as playing too much?

There's definitely a case for thinking too much.

At 3.17 am you should be remembering the good things in life, not worrying about the bad bits.

Slow everything down a notch, find yourself a good followthrough position, then concentrate on practising that at 3.30, so when you get out on the course in two hours time it feels more natural.

It depends on how old you are. I'm approaching my mid/late 40's and if I play three days in a row I suffer from it.

Generally my joints and muscles start to protest and as soons as the muscles start to tighten my swing starts to suffer. If I keep it down to three times a week alternating days it gives a good balance and allows my body time to recover.

Try to balance your time between the range and playing. If you suffer from fatigue mental or physical it's better to keep any practice sessions restricted to wedges and putting which is the most important part of the game
