As a few of you know I recently had a custom fit session which resulted in me ordering Ping i20 irons blue dot (0.75 upright). I was given a date of 11th Feb for delivery and since then I have been undergoing regular lessons with a new coach.

During the lessons my pro has been getting me to lower my hands more and working on my posture, it was only yesterday I realized that maybe upright was probably the wrong way to be going with a new set of irons. I rang Golf buy it online this morning and explained the problem they booked me in for 1pm and I turned up 45 mins early (no traffic for once), the Pro put me through the fitting process again and he found that I was right and wouldnt be needing the clubs upright if anything they needed to be slightly flatter.

I asked him how much I owed him (after taking up a fitting slot) he laughed and said nothing mate just glad your happy.

Can not rate this place highly enough.
 
I know a couple of guys who have got nothing but praise for the staff after getting fitted here. I know if I get fitted this would be my first stop.

You should get fitted mate, you dont realise the difference it makes. Also its like going into Toys R us when you were a kid for the first time :thup:
 
Superb service and nice to hear some of the other fitters should take note that it doesnt take much to keep customers happy and then get their recognition passed on to others,well done:thup:
 
Never been to the fitting centre but have ordered online ( after getting some advice of their customer service) and can't praise them enough! They are also quite cheap too compared to other retailers :)
 
Good service. I do question the fitting amidst swing changes. I should have let my changes bed in before I did mine last year. Still I'm man enough to gold my hands up and say my G25's were a rash buy. Nothing wrong with them but not what suits my eye. That said, you can't argue with a pro giving that kind of services and making the changes for you.
 
I have to agree with GBIOL customer service standards.

In January I ordered 6 Mizuno Skintite gloves. Got advised 2 days later out of stock.

Would be 10 days. Fit a phone call after 9 to say it would be another week, but did ask if they could replace with a like for like?

Asked me what other glove I used (Titleist players) and said they would match like for like.

Then found out they didn't have my size in stock :mad:

Told them not to worry as I wasn't in a rush. Got the Mizzy gloves a few days later with a voucher code for 20% off my next purchase.
 
Have used their online service a number of times and have always found them to be first class.

Have good communication and fast delivery time.

In my experience, one of the "Good guys" when it comes to buying golf equipment online.
