Hi - I am based in Norfolk

I would recommend seeing Designer Golf in Northamptonshire, not too far from Orka headquarters.

Steve is a brilliant club builder, he stocks Orka and has a huge number of shaft options, he's been brilliant in building my clubs and my wifes, my dad is going this year to be sorted.

He also stocks a load of other manufacturers that aren't easily available such as Miura, Wishon, Grindworks (which is what I have), Vega and others.

He has never tried to upsell either, he recommended he just reshafted my old clubs and sorted them out that way for about 1/3 the price of a new set. I went for the new set as a treat though

I'm on my second set of Orka irons, I changed from GS5 to RS10 combi set, sweet as anything when I'm hitting them correctly.

More than likely my next set too

edited to add: I had a fitting both time, got down to 12hc although other issues have sent be back to the 20's

Thanks. Sounds like a nice set up

I am nearly sure the guy from golf mates (is it Liam??) On YouTube has a full orka bag, probably a video on YouTube out there for the fitting. One of the driving ranges near me stocks them and the pro says they are great irons. I think they are one of these brands that make fabulous clubs but just don't make a whole lot of noise about it, sort of like Cleveland.

An Orkaite here.

Had the RS10 CBs a couple of years now and I love them. I'm local to Alex so had the full 'Orka fitting experience' and Alex is as good as they come, not only is he a excellent club builder he's a genuinely nice guy. I also have a hybrid and will probably look to add to my bag as some point in the future.

Hi

I think/hope to be in a position to purchase a full bag of new clubs over the next 12/18 months.

This may be the only chance I ever have and I want/need them to last years.

I have seen and heard a lot about orka (all good) and l love the look and sound of the fitting experience. I have only ever bought off the shelf (or internet) clubs previously.

I am 21 handicapper and goal is to get to 18 or slightly better.

My question is has anyone had experience of orka (irons, hybrid, wedges or wood) and if so any feedback welcomed.

C

You’d drop more than that just by removing the have a go hero shots from your round and improving course management.

I would disagree. My course management is conservative and don’t go for many hero shots.

Practice, strike, delivery, short game all need improvement...

In that case — buy shiney stuff!

I got from 13 to 8 just by playing p5’s as 5’s and not attempting to play them as long 4’s.

Sorry. I thought this was going to be a food thread about okra.
Really.
My wife is a very good cook and she does some great things with okra when we can find it.

Interesting video. Orkas are certainly impressive. I just preferred the look of the older models. The new ones obviously perform well, I just don’t like the tramp stamp writing on the back. Reminds me too much of my early 20’s at the end of a night out in Manchester.
