One my way home from work tonight and I had a bit of time to kill before picking up my wife from
Her work, so I poped into American golf for a look ( or so I thought)

Started looking at tm rbz driver, along comes the sales assistant. And quickly starts to work his
Sales magic on me.

Before I know it I'm trying it out, and I did like it. Both look and feel.
Sounds nice too.would have preferred to tried it out on a proper driving range rather than
A simulator thing, (but there ya go)

Anyway I've ordered one 10.5* reg.

And now I'm sat at home wishing I hadnt bought it,
I don't really need a new driver, and feel abit guilty about spending all that money.
I havnt even told Louise (my wife) yet. And to be honest I'm abit scared to. Lol
She's just spent nearly £300 on new wedges for me.

Oh I wish I could turn back time.

You're a very naughty boy!

I haven't quite got round to telling Mrs Hobbit I've ordered TM tour preferred MC/MB combo, RBZ driver and 3 wood. Just waiting for the right moment.

If you give us their mobile nos. we'll all text them and let them know.....hence saving you the trouble.
It's a service we provide here at GM

All I pass on is some advice that I was one give by an old drunk at a bar in which I was working...."it's easier to beg for forgiveness that it is to ask for permission".....

...so buried or cremated?

Guilt was eating me up so told Louise about my recent purchase, and after a bit of moaning she's
Surprisingly ok about it. But on one condition.

That we can go to Disneyland Paris for a week in November, of which I agreed.
But still think I'm going to cancel my order.

Or maybe not I'll see what I feel like tomorrow.

Men are weak, its just the way it is. She'll get over it. Heck, when you sell it on the bay in two months time, you'll probably only drop £100.

Me? I have compounded buying a new bag with buying a set of irons, and 3 matching wedges. Might as well go down in style. I think the rain hood will be on the bag for quite a while.

Only trouble is, the wedges are on delivery. But I pick up the irons tomorrow. Happy days. Til she finds out!

All the time you are feeling guilty you will consider cancelling the order.
But then the little man on the other shoulder will chip in, reminding you how well you hit it when you had a try with it.
"Mr Guilty" will have another little dig, telling you what a fool you are.
But Mr "I want that shiney" will continue to have little pops, once again reminding you how far you will hit that new baby down the middle of the fairway, and also start saying things along the lines of "you work hard, why shouldn't you treat yourself. She bought new shoes a month ago and didn't tell you"...
Mr Guilty will rear his head a couple more times, but he is getting weaker. Definitely getting weaker. He's almost disappeared now, he's that insignificant.
I know, I've been there countless times.

Enjoy your new club
;)
