Well we have just finished our little trip

Hotel - very nice , staff very friendly , food was very nice , great carvery and breakfast was good - bar prices not too bad, rooms nice just need air con

Course - not too bad at all , in decent nick , greens were very quick and some pins were in a few silly places , have to think about your tee shots at times , some very strong par threes , water very well placed , fairways in good condition , only disappointment was a few of the tees were a bit of a mess. Four hour rounds which was ok. Starters and Marshalls were friendly as were the pro shop bar one blunt miserable old man in there

Managed to score 33 on the first day but 39 today.

Overall for £100 we felt it was very good value for money and out of the two trips so far we have had it was streets ahead of Forest Pines

You have summed it up there imo. A decent place to go for a golf break and good value, especially for somewhere down this neck of the words. Agree with you about the tees making you think about your shots, certainly not a grip it and rip it course.
