Old shoes.... where do they end up?

As per the title I've ended up with two pairs of part warm shoes. Both only a season old and just been recleated , a pair of puma fusion and a pair of adizero. The zero's are like new.

Do you just dispose of them?, seems a shame.

Local charity shop if in reasonable nick.

I put the 3rd pair in that new fangled thing called a bin. I always have a back up pair, that's a year-ish old + a new pair for the start of each season.

In the shoe cupboard, about 20 pairs now.

I usually wear a pair until the backs are gone and they are beyond repair. I'll always keep them in good nick, cleaning them and wiping them over before every round, keeping spikes maintained and storing them well after use. I do also own 4 pairs of shoes, two spiked, two spikeless. The oldest pair are a pair of Nike Air Zoom spiked shoes I picked up about 4-5 years ago. Still in good nick, don't leak but the backs are a bit worn on them but they do brilliant for in the winter when it's muddy!

Looks like one set of off to the charity shop and the zeros are going as range shoes

Usually make one a range pair (and then discard the previous ones I use at the range to a charity bag). Otherwise depending on condition I will donate them to charity or simply throw away if they are in poor nick

My shoes usually last at least ten years, but at the end of their lifetime I shoot them, and bury in the garden.
