Does anyone have a favourite club in the bag which is years old but they can't let go of?!

I still play with a Titleist 915D3 driver and 915 hybrid. I've tried every Titleist driver and hybrid since and nothing has had same feel or performance level. The TSi2 was more forgiving but I didn't like the sharper sound.

What's the oldest club someone is still using?

Odyssey two ball and a 56 degree vokey sand wedge. Probably 12 yr old, same as the putter. I must be tapped if I change them.

The two ball is a classic. Up there with the Ping Anser as one of the greatest putters ever made IMO.

A 12 year wedge is impressive/mad though 😅 What are the grooves like?! Do you sharpen them up?

Favourite and oldest: Ben Sayers Opel Line One putter. Bought brand new in 1989.

Newest clubs are Ping i10 irons bought brand new in 2007.

I have sets of clubs from longer ago, but I don't play handicap qualifying golf with them.

My mate has a la Jolla knife, seems to be in and out of his bag but never seen him hit a bad shot with it x🤣

It’s my sand wedge, I will have a look tomorrow and see if there is any groves left 😂

The two ball I just love.

Cobra F6 Baffler. 9 years old. Small fairway shaped head, smaller than a fairway but larger than a hybrid. Shaft length between fairway and hybrid.

I use it as a 5 wood, it’s my 200 yard club, never found anything similar or better to replace it. Great off the tee, fairway and from bad lies.

So good I bought another as a backup.

Ping i15 3 wood with tour stiff axivcore proforce shaft. Don't feel like ever changing it. Love the sound of it of nothing else.

Still using an f6 fairway wood. Tried all the new ones last week but nothing beats it yet

Oldest club I own is a
Yes c-groove Carolyne putter
Shaft is pitted (rust) to hell😁
Gotta be 16, 17, 18 years old I reckon

It's my favourite putter, still gets 'rested' once in a while mind.....

I have the 2006 Cobra Bafflers 16°, 20° and 23°. I like these a lot.
Last time out I had driver, 3-wood and 20° in the bag.
The 23° is an alternative to the 21°-iron as my 200yd club. More roll-out with the iron as it goes like a bullet sometimes.

The only full set of irons I currently own are Mizuno Pro MS-5 from 1985.
And a Cobra Baffler 3-hybrid from mid-late 2000s is in the bag.

I bought a scotty cameron newport 2 pro platinum putter from the pro shop at Balmore golf club about 2004 or 05 I think, even then it was second hand, at least a few years old anyway. Since then I’ve tried to upgrade probably about half a dozen times with different new models, all shapes and sizes, centre shafts, heel shafts, mallets… each time resorting back to that old scotty if it was 6 month or a year or two later.

I had all the new ones still in a bag in the garage a couple years ago and decided to sell them all on and stick with the old trusty for good.

I’ve had my Scotty Cameron Studio Style Newport 2 for a long time. It’s the only club I’ve ever had where I’ve never even considered replacing. Not that I’m a brilliant putter. I just love the look and feel of it.
