Oh VILLA we love you!!!

Wenger out. He is time expired. Thanks for the good times, but go. Shut the door on your way out.

£154m in the bank, a new commercial far east deal, £10m transfer profit, £400,000 per week off the wage bill.

How can this transfer window be such a farce?

Seriously, are there no better players out there? Europe is bust. We have cash. Let's go shopping.

Wenger's vanity project has reached the end. Time to pull the plug.

Well the once mighty Rovers lost again and id rather not think about how poor we currently are! Relegation material for us this year!

On a side note I went to the opening West Ham game yesterday courtesy of a friend whose got 2 season tickets and his wife couldn't go so let me tag along for a small fee. Thoroughly enjoyed the game to be honest, the fans were in fine voice the football on display was pretty good and got to say it was nice to see Joe Cole playing well again. Going to try go along to a few more games with him this year if I get chance.

As for the Arsenal game well i only see highlights bit they looked poor and ill disciplined. How can Arsenal fans still have faith in Wenger no silverware for 8 years, no decent ground breaking signings in that time only the constant shipping out of their good players and massive tickets costs leading to plenty of cash in the bank that just sits there gathering interest because the manager is reluctant to spend despite all the "so called" links to players. They need serious investment and as always i reckon they'll do a load of last minute average deals to appease fans I reckon they'll be lucky to finish 6th this season.

Stopped watching last season because its really not good for my heart....way too much frustration. Didn't watch the game last night but reading a number of different reports today suggests the ref was a bit over officious and penalties and cards issued were a tad easy.....

I've not yet bad mouthed Wenger......but have reached the end of my tether. We only read what's printed until announced by Arsenal,no real idea if he bid against Gustavo et al...... But..... After shipping out so many he should have started replacing by now..... All the rubbish about 18 days left.....just like last year, too late....

Time to go....

Just watched recorded MOD. Sorry Arsenal fans but for me the ref got both penalty decisions right. Well within his rights to pull it back for a pen if no advantage is gained for the first one and the 2nd Koscielny gets man first and then faintest touch on ball and it's actually agbonlahor that gets the main touch forward. The better team won and you look poor. Wenger needs to accept that all players come with a premium these days.

As for me I'm a happy Hammer :)

1 game in and some people are saying Wenger should be sacked?

Shameful.

Well done to the Villa BTW

Why not?.it's not one game in, it's so far into the transfer window to have not fixed the gaps in the squad is embarrassing. To bring any one in now is papering over the cracks. It's Wenger, and he is time expired.

15 years of playing in the CL that's why, is that not an accomplishment? He knows what he is doing, only 3 (super rich) clubs finishing above his team the rest are below.

Lost the first game and now we need a new manager?

Still time to bring players in and none of us knows what is happening behind the scenes but I trust Wenger to keep getting it right.

Besides, Villa look a decent side and will probably turn over some of the other big teams along the way. Lets wait to see where things are after 10 games.

Wenger should stay but Gazidis seems clueless at the negotiating table with more good players heading for the exit rather than the entrance since David Dein left!

Give Wenger a team and the results will come in (I hope!)

All of the players currently at arsenal are Wengers. They are his team. All of the transfer failings are his failings. Come Wednesday, we might not be in the cl.At the beginning of the transfer window, we were an attractive proposition. A few key signings and swe were fit to go. Not now. Business should have been done early.

Who would come to us now?

There was never a plan in place. It has been a total shambles.

Be careful what you wish for Murph.

A lot of Stoke fans wanted Tony Pulis out. They got their way eventually!

We now have Mark Hughes

You actually played some decent football on Saturday, although not the most incisive. It will take mark Hughes 2-3 transfer windows to totally change your style and still finish in the top half. It may be better for the football purists in your support, but in the end it may not equate to higher league finishings than what Pulis achieved, though.

I know what type of football I would rather see though.
