What's everyones routine? Build strength with squats deadlifts and bench press 5x5 for 6/8 weeks then make it more specific to golf?

Anyone do anything different?

You cant go wrong with a 5x5 Compound routine. As I've gotten older I like to work on my flexibility as well as strength. I'm also an advocate of Kettlebells for conditioning and for explosive moves such as Snatches, Cleans, Jerk and presses. I'd invest in a slam ball - £20-30 for a 9-12kg one pick it up and slam it hard on the floor do something like Every Minute on The Minute (EMOM) so set a timer for 1 minute intervals aim for about 15 slams and what's left on the timer is your rest period. Do that for a total of 30 minutes and you've done 450 slams/cleans whatever you pick.
