Happened to me once, in a practice round, though, so not much harm done. But I have been a lot more mindful about it since then and will rather tee off a foot back than risking it again.

Happened to me once, in a practice round, though, so not much harm done. But I have been a lot more mindful about it since then and will rather tee off a foot back than risking it again.

The annoying thing is, I have seen people put the ball in the wrong place many many times and have even done it myself. However, yesterday was the first time that not one person in the group has spotted it before allowing the player to actually hit the ball.
