odds on QPR going straight back down ??

Yes but in the overall scale of things football clubs are relatively small companies based upon number of employees and turnover.

The rewards are disproportionate.
I guess it depends on what is classed as rewards - can a price be put on winning the prem or a cl for example ?

Understand what you mean about the wages but they are the ones in the firing line

.Football will exist without tv deals, always will. I guess we could always lend the Scotish FA a few quid if needed.;)

Yes football would continue without the TV money but without many of the players if the clubs in other countries had more or even the same amount of money.

Wouldn't have it any other way, there on merit.

Money men would have it as the 20 "biggest" or best supported clubs if they could.

West ham, Chelsea, Newcastle, Man City, Man united, Sunderland, Villa have been in lower divisions in living memory and deservedly so.

Coventry, Bolton, Sheffield Wednesday, Fulham, Charlton have been well established top division clubs over the last 30 years for a time.

Long may it continue.

I even went to Luton and Oxford in division one years ago, look at them now.

Arl fellas like fish, may have been to Carlisle and Bristol in the first division also.;)

You've not lived until you've been to Grimsby & Shrewsbury also, in fact, in 83-84 when we won promotion out of Div2, Man City, Leeds & Newcastle were all down their with us!

Wossa BPL?

Cannon fodder and nothing else.

Barclays Premier League

Eejit!

They'll spend a fortune alright - but 'Arry won't be able to push them very high, and will likely be pushed by Christmas!

I fear they'll still end up higher than West Ham though!
