Not the news I was hoping for

Hi Chris

Great to see such a positive post on such terrible news.

I'm sure you'll be in fine shape for the new season.

Maybe you'll have a chance to work on your putting if little else.

Some might say you need time to concentrate on your short game.

Cheers

Clive

Hope you have a speedy recovery, hopefully all the awareness and money raised through Movember just gone, will help you and others.

Does this mean we can put you down for growing a silly moustache next year too?

Thanks surefire.

Yeah, I'd be up for that next year :)

I've been thinking that I might like to get involved in a golf day for Charity sometime next year.

But I have another challenge to get over first.

All the very best Golfmmad.

I have been having blood tests for some years now and recently my PSA readings have been going up. My doctor has now sent me to a to a Urology unit, and i will be having all the tests this Friday. Must admit i am not looking forward to them, but i would rather know one way or another, than live in fear.

Early diagnosis is the key, and i recommend having blood tests to everyone.

All the best again

Rich

I take my hat off to you Rich. All the very best for Friday. Myself and I'm sure others on here will be thinking of you on Friday.

Yes. It was scheduled for today.

Let's hope everything went well and that Chris will soon be back on here to give us the gory details.

Only just noticed this thread, good luck to both of you.

I always said I'd start having those health screaning tests (run by bupa etc) every few years once I hit 40, I'm 41 in March so think I'll get something booked. There's a big history of heart disease on my mums side of the family so I'm a bit paranoid about it.
