I have been struggling lately, I have been very inconsistent with my scoring ranging from a very average score to a completely rubbish round, I just could not find a reliable, comfortable set up that would produce a decent shot.
I have up until now been using the Hogan method, ie going from a closed stance with the driver to an open stance with the wedges.

The only time I could get comfortable over the shot was with an open stance, so I started to use it for all my shots.
I fully expected to badly slice my driver & was amazed when it went straight & long, the more I practiced the better it got, I just feel so much more comfortable over the ball & I am finding it much easier to get my weight through the ball.
It just seems so much easier to keep the club on line rather than swinging across my body & cutting across the ball.
Does anyone else find the same?
