Hit is tee shot into the trees and his ball landed right behind a tree root but he took the shot on and it looks like he has knackerd his wrist!

He's got his 3rd shot out but he's walking up the fairway with an ice pack on it.

Hopefully he will be alright.

Jesus it's like Sky bloody Sports on here.

I can bet you 90% of us would have taken it on but the armchair critics sit on their sofas preaching how silly it was!

He needs to walk in now as there is no way he can go on but I for one can understand why he took the shot on.It didn't come off like Garcia's did but if it had we would have all been marveling at the exuberance of youth.

Agreed.

Once the risk didn't come off and he hurt himself, pretty badly by the look of it, he should just get himself away. Could end up doing some really serious damage.

Gutsy golf, but for the sake of his immediate career he should get it checked out immediately (by order of my wife who is a nurse).

He's a fool for carrying on.... but at least he knows he'll be able to afford the worlds best surgeon.... and 18 months to recoup. Hopefully it's just a twinge(sp?) and no permanent damage is done.

I disagree. If the doctor has suggested it is ok to carry on, hes not being foolish at all. If, however, the physio had told him to pack it in, then yes I would agree.

The body is a resilient thing, especially a 22 year old body.

I have damage in my left wrist and have had for 18months+ now, when it goes I can't even hold the club on the downswing. I'd take a right wrist injury anytime as there is slightly less pressure and you can at least swing through the ball to a finish. If he HAS damamged a ligament it wouldn't surprise me if he has an op to put it right. I'd have mine fixed if I had any chance of being a decent golfer :)

I think if it was really bothering him he would have pulled out by now, he swings so hard and fast i think he would be in complete agony.

I think the real test will come if he gets a nasty lie in deep rough and has to dig it out.
