Is your club doing anything special to mark the big day...apart from closing for 3 days and the usual turkey trot?

Does your club still have the Christmas party when you get drunk and tell the H/cap secretary what you really think of him, or doesn't that happen any more?

We have our turkeys up until the last week before Christmas then handicaps are reset and there is a Christmas cheer where all the prizes are alcohol.

I'd love to get drunk at my club but I live too far away so I have to drive!

I need to win the lottery and buy a lovely big house near the club.....

Turkey trot at my place.

Turkey trot the 4th and 5th, Christmas stableford on the 11th (0-16 handicap) and the 12th (17-28). Prize giving on the 16th and that's about all until the New Years Eve party. I'll try and get a few holes in between Christmas and new year

If my course closes for a day, i'll be over the fence!.
i've paid my subs and play when I want! + I don't think I can stand time with the family at Christmas. Isn't Christmas a time to enjoy ones self?
