played the Arden course yesterday, putted like a complete div but overall decent tee to green. Came home with 24 points (7 blobs) and 14th overall out of 32. Only 6 scores over 30 so all in all a decent result

Pluses - drove the ball well. Hybrids went a peach also. Bunker shots were awesome, hit the pin on the 1st and holed out for a par, had a plugged ball on another and again out 1st time to 6 ft (then 2 putted lol)

negatives - did not get the pace of the greens all round and best putt holed was a 12 footer, my whole 4 ball struggled so at least I wasn't alone

The 18th is quite an intimidating tee shot.... nutted a gripped down 3 hybrid onto the fringe and 3 putted (again) for 3 points grrrr

Great to meet Anthony (TXL) and can't wait for Woburn :thup:

What was the course like ? Greens sound as if they were tricky. Were they quick or different paces?

I found the greens hard to judge in October. The 18th is a bit of a squeaky bum time shot which I bailed out of left of the green. Salvaged a nett three. Glad there was some god stuff in there and with that number of blobss you scored ok on the remaining 11
