Norfolk golf courses, which ones.

Shaun me man, ave got 4 to 6 courses in mind and daughters father in law is a member at Swaffham. And it has decent reviews from what I have read.

links/ coast choices are. Cromer, Sheringham, Hunstanton, Brancaster.

parkland are Kings Lynn and Swaffham.

They are early days, Brancaster would be the dream course listening to our club pro today but how you would get five on there is a massive problem. 🙁

Would love to play Brancaster have been on the beach place does look amazing but normally fouresomes or two balls only

Hunstanton, Royal West Norfolk (Brancaster), Sheringham, Cromer all decent seaside courses :) If you want inland then Kings Lynn or Thetford

This is exactly the trip we did in June this year, with Kings Lynn on last day rather than Thetford. Wonderful courses.
We stayed in Nelson Inn in Burnham Market which was good and fairly central.

We actually used an agent to book all our tee times.
You have to be careful at Brancaster because of the tides as you have to cross the causeway.
I think it is possible to play a 3 ball at Secretary's discretion. There was a 3 ball ahead of us. We would also have been an odd number but one of our group had to go home early

Out of interest what was wrong with BB? i'm a member there so interested on which course you played and the issues

Hi Shaun
we played both courses mate.
The biggest issue we had was with clover..... it was growing everywhere, including most of the fairways.
More time was spent looking for golf balls covered by the stuff than actually playing shots I think!
Drove us mad lol!
I can't really remember much about the courses to be honest, it was quite a few years ago.
Just remember it being a slog.
It may well have changed now. As I say, I'm talking some 20 years ago.

They may have mown the fairways since then!

I'm also a member at BB and really like it there, especially the valley course. Beats all the other inland courses IMO. Played Cromer last year and a friend is also a member, lovely course. Royal Norwich is in pretty poor condition compared to the others mentioned.
