Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!

An injury last night at work means that I'm out of action for six weeks with my little finger in a splint.

I now have to wear this splint for six weeks so all golf is kaput! I have managed to pull the tendons off of my finger which did smart a little and I was told that it would actually have been better if I had broken my finger as the chances of healing are a lot better.

However in reality this means,

Machrihanish which I've put six months of work into is out the window!

A trip to play Blairgowrie in April with Toad is now out the window.

Playing with Fabian at his superb links is also out the window next week.

No golf at my course or anywhere now!

Life is a cant at times a true cant!

Unbelievable! So sorry to hear that mate. Timing couldn't have been worse. Hope you can still manage to come along for the banter (not to mention Fabian's singing!!) at the Machrihanish weekend, would be rotten for you to miss it after all the hard work you've put in.

I'll still be at Machrihanish, I've a prize giving to run, people to thank, mates to catch up with, meet new people like Sammmmebee, Colin T etc etc.

Really gutted I was looking forward to playing with Sam at Machrihanish on the Sunday and taking money off of Andy and Toad on the Saturday, winning a prize, winning some Whisky, nice meals and of course the banter.

I'll take some pictures and do the cards etc.

I'm really disapointed however these things happen and I'll just need to accept it and concentrate on getting the finger on the mend.
