Sorry to hear that mate, as Clive says we will still be on winters till May if this weather keeps going, so you will not be missing out.

Courses closed again today because of the snow. Still, I played on Thursday and only half the course was on winter greens. Things are looking up. ;)

Clive I was out on Tuesday with 11 full greens, was great had the whole course to myself.
I had a look at the STRI report they said that with proper maintenance it will recover quickly, will be good to play a full course again.

Will be heading out tuesday morning if the weather picks up.

Sorry to hear that. At least by the time you come back the course will be nice and dry, the warm sun will be out and the clocks will have changed and you can golf well into the evening. Don't risk rushing back and doing more damage or it could be the whole season thats gone kaput

bummer man sorry to hear that, even sorrier when you had so much lined up to play,, take the full 6 weeks or you could miss the year, 6 weeks will fly in.. can you practice putt? all the best for a speedy recovery man & a great summers golf after recovery

I must admit the greens that are on are first class. Is that you booked for 8am? Early start. When we played on Thursday we had the course to ourselves too. Lovely!

Thanks for all the positive comments, I wont be touching a club unless the quack says so.

Soft tissue injuries clinic in two weeks time for an assessment and hopefully I'll get some positive news then. As I say, I just need to grin and bare it and accept it.

Shame.

I'll think of you when I tee it up next time :D :D

On the bright side, for a couple of months you've got a legitimate excuse for lobbing your driver down the fairway!

you could spend time with your v easy and your putter. it will save you buying a new one.

ive just heard on sky sports news that Paul Casey is really chuffed to be picked to replace you in the GM team :D

Sorry to hear that Crawford. I know when i did my back in and missed five weeks last year, it was very frustrating, in more ways than one. ;)

I'd just like to thank Andy for his concern and kind offer.

He very thoughtfully asked me if I'd like to go to the range and watch him hit balls.

Thankfully there was an episode of Tom and Jerry on that I watched instead.
