I had been clinging to the hope that the snow might have melted by Sunday so I could play golf, however, yesterday the forecast changed from no snow in my area to some light snow overnight. Turns out that light snow fell until it got to aout 5cm deep

about the same amount here, kids school closed due to ice. just off to work and as a telephone engineer (Lineman for the county ;) ) not looking forward to it

Hardly any here - but more than enough to close the course.......Again

Uh Oh - Weather related thread - might be deemed boring in some parts.....

NO Snow where I am here at Newcastle
Ground was hard yesterday, just rained all day, no snow
Im off up the coast at 10am for a game on the links.......:ears:
My own course is not looking good right now though........very wet yesterday when I called up :(

Hahaha it is a beautiful morning here and if I wasn't moving house into my new hoose I would be playing golf :(

Had no new snow last night, but the club website is still showing "Course closed due to snow cover" :(

Doubt it it will be open this weekend.

Have you noticed its only since you got the shiny new Titleist gear we've had frozen courses and snow

Here last weekends snow had gone by tuesday, nice and clear. But just looked out the window and a few snow flakes are starting to fall. Hope it soon stops.

No snow here in the mother country (also known as Wigan).. Off up the course in a bit for a quick 18, winter greens though so I promise I won't enjoy it...Honest guv....

Based just outside Preston and we have not had a single flake the whole winter. been wet but at least it is playable

I work in and around Preston, and for some reason it rarely snows, even the last 2years when it's been really bad Preston has just had a light dusting.

Still freezin' cold though!

I don't think I'll be playing this weekend. We had a good few inches last night and the course has been closed all week due to dangerous conditions underfoot. Supposed to be playing The Wiltshire on Sunday too which I was really looking forward to. Hoping it'll thaw but not getting my hopes up :-(

Snow, snow and more snow here. No golf for 2 weeks now and will be nothing until next weekend at the earliest. What it worse, I signed up for a month at Belton Park to see if I can get easy games before chosing my club for next seaon but the course has been shut since the day after I joined. Might be cheeky and ask if they will extend my temp membership.

Yes it has been a bit chilly lately. Still at least you can go out if you want. Heading out tommorow for a practice as the forecast is fine all day so happy days:thup:
