Nice write up for Lottie Woad.

Mentioned before about Lottie’s slow start…and she knows she has to get better out of the blocks, because once she gets going…👍

And so the Honda LPGA Thailand just finished.

-1, -1, -5 (7 birdies, one double), -8 (8 birdies, no bogeys) 🙄

-8 being Lottie’s lowest single round score as a professional - and lowest for many years.

Tied 15th and a pretty solid start to the year.

And on to Singapore.

And so this week it has been Singapore. Slow start (again) but picking up as the rounds progressed to finish T10…alongside Mimi Rhodes and Charley. Great showing by the English girls.

Next up for Lottie…two weeks off during which time (as she has posted) she’ll try and work out how to play good golf on a Thursday 🤣

She sounds a bit like Scheffler at the moment, not too bad a place to be.

The Asian players are very very good and playing much closer to home, so great to see Lottie and the other British players doing so well. Top ten in such events is impressive for her first proper year on tour.

Those new to global travel can’t surely play as well away from home, considering the different temps, humidity etc can they?

Also the grasses and grain are totally different, just ask anyone who’s tried chipping out of kikuyu. Bermuda is no picnic if you aren’t brought up on it either.

Yes…apparently Lottie has found it uncomfortable. Probably not surprising that tee off times in Singapore were from 8:00am…I guess to try and get everyone round before the mid-late afternoon heat and humidity.

And after the last two comps Charley is up to #3 in the Rolex World rankings.👍

Well done Lottie - England Golf award for 2025/26

Another good 2nd place finish for Caley McGinty today on the LET in Australia
Aye she is on a good run 👍

But LET is a tough workplace…a hard slog to make any money. Coming T2 McGinty won under £14k…good but given she’s playing in Australia…and 60th place following the cut won about £525.
