Can't legislate for a 61 yard walkoff FG, especially as he had already missed a PAT and almost missed a 2nd.
Will be interesting to see if Poyer is benched, as it appeared that David Long was benched yesterday after a couple of terrible games - hopefully we will start to see some accountability for bad play/errors now. Poyer should have been refused entry to the plane coming back from Buffalo and although Mostert has been good for us, after another fumble, Wright should be getting his carries.
However, we did play well - the two big errors were from the most experienced team members and they pretty much cost us.
Yep, Long was definitely needing benched but I was surprised they did it. He was starting to remind me of Elandon Roberts from a couple of season ago who would just pick a hole and and hit anything that moved in there hard but 90% of the time he picked the wrong hole. Long has been doing that all season, most of the big runs given up are him filling the wrong hole.

Same with Mostert, that's 2 game changing fumbles in 3 weeks and Wright has looked very good in limited action. Can't see McDaniel starting Wright over Mostert though, he's known him too long and he's still a very good back who seems to have developed fumbilitis for some reason.

Bucs had the whole 2-point dilemma last night. Trailing 24-17 with 30 seconds left, score a TD. Do you go for two and the win or the PAT and take overtime. Bucs chose the latter. KC won the overtime coin toss, drove the length of the field and won without the Bucs getting the ball. And of course the social media morons are all ripping the coach a new one for not going for two. Of course if they had gone for two and failed, they would be ripping that. The Bucs were the first ones to actually do it and succeed in a 2005 game against Washington.

And for those of you in the Taylor Swift TV shot sweepstakes, it was 10:37 in the first quarter for the first appearance and you should have taken the over for four appearances. And in terms of amount of make-up being worn, the winning description was "absolutely caked in it".

It's like going back 20 years to the posh and Becks days.

I'm still not a fan of the "walk off" TD in overtime. With the rules so bent towards the offense I think the other team should at least be given the chance of replying. I get that it could make for college like games but it's got to be a major advantage receiving the ball in overtime first (he says without checking any stats whatsoever).

If I was a Bucs fan I'd have been hoping they go for 2 and if they failed so be it. I wouldn't want to take the chance of giving the ball back to Mahomes or even trying to score on that Chiefs defense first. I'd much rather have taken a chance at the 2 point conversion to end the game there and then.

I had no problem with kicking the PAT at the time. There are a few people in the Tampa sports media with an agenda who were going to lay into Coach Bowles no matter what the outcome so this was the ideal scenario for them. The Bucs actually moved the ball pretty well seeing as we were down to about our 8th string receiver. KC just keep converting third downs all game including 14 receptions for that "how-the-hell-is-he-banging-that" tight end of theirs.

We have the same in Miami (although to be fair Grier and McDaniel do deserve it due to the backup QB situation). There are also plenty of vocal fans who blame everything on the QB, even had one today saying that Tua didn't do enough to win the game as the offense had to settle for 2 FG's rather than TD's. This is after he goes 24/27 with a 124 passer rating on the road in Buffalo.

Imagine doing a two-hour post-game show with people like that phoning in and messaging? How I don't call them a few names, both American and English in origin is sometimes beyond me.

The PAT was the percentage play!

Something worth watching on YouTube. The entire series of "Playmakers" has been put up on there.

This was an amazing show that ESPN did in 2004 about a fictional team that ran for one series and dealt with some serious "let's pull the wool over this one" issues that pro teams deal with. There was only one series because ESPN got told by the NFL if they did another one, they would lose all their contracts.

Believe me, for any NFL fan, it is magnificent television.

I have 11 people on my list for an NFL discussion call - I have set up a Microsoft Teams call for next Wednesday at 7.30pm UK time. I will message each of those people individually with the details - I will leave it open for two hours so people can come and go.
The only moderation rule is no crocs (sorry Tashy)

Come on down Chris Perkins, with the terrible take (one of his many).
Particularly as Tua lost 20 passing yards on the last play due to Waddle not being able to outrun a DE - Waddle did have the great duo of a TD catch & negative passing yards 🤔

We've had some crackers there - Roberts, who as you said was happy to hit the hole regardless of it was the right one or Kiko Alonso, who led the team in tackles for a few years but they were all after the other team had run for at least 5 yards already.
Just want to see some accountability, even if it's just benching Mostert for a series or two and playing Wright instead. Perhaps they could just tell Poyer that we are playing every game in Buffalo, so we wouldn't have to see him

My son and I sat through the 🦅v🤠 game. Expectations weren't high, may less as Prescott was out, but wasn't prepared for that 🚿of💩. Ended up by using our third QB for the last quarter as offense was so bad not helped by the woeful play calling. One time, no-one told Rush he was benched as Lance took the field. Shambles. I could go on. 💩
