I had my share of pictures of a non-player watching from a luxury box on Monday Night but there is something particularly wonderful about seeing Jerry Jones looking like he's eaten a turd sandwich when his Cowgirls get wiped out at home like that. Dallas are now in the same position as the Raiders were in under Al Davis. They will not win until the owner dies. Terrible to say but Jerry has proven over the last 30 years that he cannot be the GM of a successful team. The three Super Bowls were down to Jimmy Johnson (who needs to retire along with Bradshaw from the FOX pre-game show).

I'm still recovering from three hours of Tom Brady having orgasms over the return of "Run CMC" for the 49ers. Four losses in a row for the injury-crippled Bucs now. We are on our bye week next Sunday and are still favoured by the Vegas sports books to lose by four.

See you all Wednesday night.

Watched Redzone yesterday since the Dolphins don't play till tonight. Not sure if I'll stay up for the Dolphins game as they suck on prime time and they suck on the road (think they are 8-15 under McDaniel on the road) so this is a double whammy. I might stay up just to see how bad they are and how they contrive to lose the game.

The Bucs game was a wild ending. How Baker makes that play when he was stiff arming Bosa for about 30 yards and then connects on the pass is mind boggling to me. Bosa looked like a child trying to drag his dad down to the ground, I've no idea what he was doing. You then have the 49ers defense try to throw the game by giving up 35 yards of penalties all in a row only for the offense to come back on and win the game with a kicker who couldn't hit the side of a barn yesterday.

Redskins lose a thriller to the Steelers with Mike Williams catching the winning TD when he has only been there a couple of days.

Buffalo still dinking and dunking everyone to death while their defense plays bend but don't break to perfection, the opposition offense makes a mistake before they can score. They will lose to team's that can actually tackle on defense.

Patriots starting to look like a football team and the Bears regressing or maybe just returning to normal.

The Jets being the Jets and finding out that not only is QB Rodgers washed but coach Rodgers and GM Rodgers sucks as well. I love it.

More hype than the hyperdrive on the Milennium Falcon. I don't follow college football that much but since the Georgia QB is trying to blow his 1st round status by throwing three picks a game, the hype is on Sanders. He is Deion's son which is about 95% of the hype. He is not that good. The Raiders would be better with Jay Schroeder back. And I work with him on sports radio so I have his number and he now lives in Vegas

Also, any team that picks him has to deal with Deion and all of the Sanders-ness that comes with him

Dolphins make a surprise roster move and waive LB David Long (who I was complaining about a few posts back). It's surprising as he was really good last year and is a team captain this year but he's also been terrible this year. Obviously this defensive scheme doesn't fit him.

Watched a few Dolphins games this year, last week's too. How many times does Tua get hit!!! Jeez, no wonder he gets so many injuries
He doesn't really get hit all that often but when he does it's because he's hung onto the ball for too long and ends up getting hammered. He really needs to learn the Tom Brady "fall into the fetal position before you get hit" method to prolong his career. Unfortunately I don't think he has that in him, he seems to have the typical meathead attitude of "I'll show you I can do what you say I can't do". He also seems like the most awkward faller ever, he just seems so uncoordinated when he falls. Personally I think that's because his dad forced him to throw left handed even although he is right hand dominant so everything seems so uncoordinated. It would be like all of us trying to swing the club from the non-dominant side, I've seen what mine looks like and it's not pretty. (Dominant side isn't much better though).

Reason No.94 why the NFL is great - Dallas getting hammered at home on Monday Night Football by a not-very-good Texans team. Jerry Jones was hiding from view at the back of his box to avoid the cameras. Lovely. Sorry to our resident Cowboy fan on the forum of course but he understands :ROFLMAO:

Pittsburgh v Cleveland last night was one of those "ahh doesn't it look nice with the snow on the field games" - players and coaches hate them as it puts a nail in the tyre of their gameplans. And most of the fans are miserable in the weather too. Oh well, glad I support the Bucs and their 90 degree weather.

Couple of good podcasts I can recommend.

Monday - The Bill Simmons podcast - he and Cousin Sal review all the Sunday games and then guess the betting lines for the following week. Great fun to write down your own predictions and then see who wins. Usually around 90 minutes and lots of politically incorrect views about coaches, owners and Roger Goodell.

GM Shuffle - Mike Lombardi - really insightful analysis. He used to be GM for Al Davis and Bill Belichick. He wrote Gridiron Genius which is 50% blowing smoke up Belichick's ass and 50% tremendous reading.

Both of these are way better than the usual shouty talking head types or your token Sky female presenter trying to prove unsuccessfully that she knows the game.
