NFL 2024

Only a slightly biased view there. There was a heck of a lot more to it that that.

Just been on a call with Bucs' coach Todd Bowles. We get two of our starting secondary back Sunday night, Antoine Winfield and Jamel Dean. TE Cade Otton is good to go too. Which means we only lose by 10 instead of 14.
I hope the Bucs do well in the playoffs, I love watching Baker play.

Also loved the Gus Swayze skit.

I remember the last time Madrid played Houston. James Caan was awesome but there were injuries everywhere ..... (let's see who gets that reference)
Loved that film , apparently when they were filming it they actually played the game, and the injury list was pretty impressive by all accounts. So they were told to stop and just concentrate on the actual scenes required for the movie .

Was a decent first half but their quality has come through in the end

Hopefully them or the Ravens can beat Kansas
Buffalo's offensive line was ridiculous, the Broncos just couldn't get any pressure or stop the run.

I thought the Eagles first TD was lucky. Looked like a clean helmet into the facemask tackle then the above shot seems to show GB recovering the ball but they didn't call a flag on the hit or overturn the decision to give the Eagles the ball.

Fell asleep before the Bucs Commanders game so only got to watch the highlights. Seemed like a good game and Daniels looks like the real deal. Baker tried to play fullback on a few plays but his team just fell short and Dan Quinn might be the new Riverboat Ron with how many times he went for it on 4th down rather than kicking the field goal. I guess it worked out in the end for him.

When do pitchers and catchers report? :(

The Bucs lost when they fumbled deep in their own territory when leading 17-13. The doink through the posts for the winning fieldgoal was just the coup de grace. But at 4am, I'd lost the motivation to go and find a local cat to kick.
And of course some of the moronic fan base were screaming for the coach to be fired so I wrote a piece today ripping the siht out of them.

Jerry Jones must have someone lined up to take over for McCarthy unless it's a done deal he is going to Chicago.

The Saunders road show hits Dallas 😉

I think Jerry Jones has got Jerry Jones lined up to replace Jenny.

A comment like that shows ignorance about what really happened. Dallas won three Super Bowls because of Jimmy Johnson. That team was so good they even won the third with a drunken Barry Switzer allegedly in charge on the sideline.
I have no time for Skip Bayless, one of the worst shouty heads of all-time, but his book on the Cowboys of that time covers the truth. As does the one that the excellent Jeff Pearlman wrote.
Dallas are in the same position as the Raiders were with Al Davis. They will never win the Super Bowl whilst Jones or Davis are/were alive (insert gag about Mark Davis here).

I can't really comment on Mark Davis as I do have a source very close to him and the Raider organisation.

Mark Dominik on the GM Shuffle was connecting the dots between Dallas letting McCarthy walk at the end of his contract on Monday and having a plan in place already to replace him. As in Lions' OC Ben Johnson who is now off the radar until the Lions' playoff run ends.
McCarthy to Chicago looks rather obvious. That would leave the likes of Pete Carroll, Steve Spagnolo and a few up-and-coming co-ordinators as possibles for the other teams still looking for a head coach.

The same Pete Carroll who is a million years old? I love the old bugger and what he did at Seattle but jeepers…..
